Boost
Productivity, Drive Efficiency
Boost productivity and efficiency with Mailmobile‚, the pace-setting
mail transport system by Egemin Automation Inc./Bell & Howell. Mailmobile
will be the most reliable, efficient delivery “person” on
your staff.
Your company will enjoy more frequent and faster deliveries, plus
workload peaks will be smoothed out. Internal mail placed on the Mailmobile
is delivered directly to its destination instead of returning to the mailroom
to be sorted, reducing the volume of mail handled by mailcenter staff.
In addition, your employees will be able to receive and respond more quickly
to their mail, which increases productivity.
Select the World’s Most Flexible
System
Any place a person with a pushcart can go, Mailmobile can go—between
cubicles, through doorways, from floor to floor on elevators. The key
to Mailmobile is its guidance system and patented, virtually invisible
guidepath. This non-toxic, water-based path withstands normal traffic
and maintenance whether applied to carpet, wood, vinyl, tile, concrete
or any other floor surface. Best of all, the guidepath is easily installed
in your facility. The guidepath route can also be easily changed if necessary.
Mailmobile can be programmed to perform over 30 different actions as it
travels along its route, ranging from a simple slow down or mail stop
to radio transmission. These actions can occur in any order and can be
repeated as often as necessary.
Rely on Mailmobile for Safety
A host of built-in features make Mailmobile an automatic vehicle you and
your employees can trust. Its pace is steady and predictable and operating
signals—an intermittent beep during travel, a warning tone before
movement, and flashing lights while running—alert anyone in the
area of its location. An obstacle detection system stops Mailmobile whenever
people or objects are in its path. Bumpers along the bottom and front
of the vehicle instantly stop Mailmobile when touched. When the obstacle
is removed, Mailmobile will automatically continue on its way.
